What ages do you accept?

We welcome participants from age 3 and up! Baby Gymnastics is for ages 3–5, Acrobatic Preparation for ages 5–7, aerial kids' classes (Silks, Hoops, Hammock) start at age 7+, Stretching and Pilates from age 10+, and adult group classes from age 13+. Aerial Elite is available from age 16+.

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, form-fitting athletic clothing — leggings and a fitted top work best. You must be barefoot during class (no shoes or socks). Avoid zippers, metal elements, jewelry, watches, and body creams or lotions. For aerial classes, cover your armpits and the backs of your knees to prevent friction burns. Please bring your own towel to training. For hygiene reasons, washing your hands and feet before practicing on silks, hammock, and loops is mandatory.

Are there any health restrictions?

Aerial acrobatics is physically demanding. We recommend consulting your doctor if you have heart conditions, back problems, recent injuries, or are pregnant. When registering for the first time, you will complete a health questionnaire and sign consent forms. Please always inform your trainer of any health concerns before class.

How do you ensure equipment safety?

We use exclusively certified swivel bearings and professional-grade equipment. Every six months, a certified rigger performs a complete inspection of all ceiling anchor points, carabiners, swivels, ropes, and figure-eights.

We offer a wide range of classes: ground-based training (Stretching, Acrobatic Preparation, Core & Stability, Pilates, Functional Training, Functional Training for Seniors), children's programs (Baby Gymnastics, Acrobatic Preparation for kids), four aerial disciplines (Silks, Hoops, Hammock, Loops), plus Open Space (self-guided practice) and Aerial Elite for advanced aerialists. Workshops on special topics are offered periodically.

What programs do you offer for children?

We have several programs tailored to younger participants: Baby Gymnastics (ages 3–5) focuses on playful movement and coordination, Acrobatic Preparation (ages 5–7) builds strength and basic acrobatic skills, and aerial kids' classes in Silks, Hoops, and Hammock are available from age 7+. Stretching and Pilates are open from age 10+.

How long are the classes?

Regular group classes are 60 minutes long. Open Space sessions are 90 minutes. Workshops are typically 2 hours. Private lessons can be customized from 1–2 hours based on your preferences and goals.

How many people are in a group class?

Group sizes vary by zone: Zone A (Silks, Hammock, Loops) has a maximum of 10 participants, Zone B (ground-based classes like Stretching, Pilates, Core & Stability) allows up to 12, and Zone C (Hoops) holds a maximum of 9. Small groups ensure personal attention from our trainers.

Can I book private lessons?

Yes! Private lessons are available for aerial disciplines only, for 1–6 people. They're perfect for personalized attention and specific skill development. The cost is split evenly between participants, so the more people you bring, the less each person pays. See our pricing section for detailed rates.

How do I book a class?

Create an account on our website and choose a class from the schedule. First-time participants will complete a health questionnaire and sign consent forms as part of the registration process. After selecting your class, complete the payment to reserve your place — your spot is only confirmed once payment is received. If paying by bank transfer, always include the variable symbol provided during booking — without it, we cannot pair your payment with your reservation. If you are interested in a private lesson, send us an email at info@flyingstars.sk. We will individually arrange the date and the studio where your private lesson will take place.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel an entire course up to 48 hours before the first session. Once a course has started, you can sign out of an individual session up to 24 hours before it takes place — if you do, you can arrange a make-up on an alternate date (up to 2 make-ups per course). For private lessons, the cancellation deadline is 24 hours before the lesson starts. For late cancellations or no-shows, 50% of the lesson price is charged as financial compensation for the trainer.

What if I arrive late to class?

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your class to change and prepare in the changing room. If you arrive late, joining the class is at the trainer's discretion for safety reasons. For private lessons, if you arrive late, the trainer will not extend the lesson. We recommend setting reminders to ensure you arrive on time.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

No, all equipment is provided — aerial silks, hoops, hammocks, loops, mats, and any necessary safety gear. For Open Space sessions, you select which equipment you'd like to use when booking. Just bring appropriate clothing, a water bottle, and a towel.

How much do classes cost?

Drop-in classes are 15€ per session. Course classes (6–8 weeks) are 10.50€ per session. Baby Gymnastics is 13€ per session. Workshops are 20€. Open Space is 15€ for 90 minutes. Private lessons range from 35€ (1 person) to 85€ (6 people). Summer camps are 230€ per week.

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently, we only accept payments via bank transfer. Card payments via a payment gateway will be available soon. For bank transfers, you can scan the QR code (PAY by square) or enter the details manually — always include the variable symbol provided during booking so we can match your payment correctly. Your place is reserved only after payment is received. Payment must be completed within 48 hours of booking — otherwise your reservation will be automatically cancelled.

How do courses work?

Our courses run for 6–8 weeks with one session per week at a fixed day and time. The course price is 10.50€ per session. Courses are personal and non-transferable. You can also join a course after it has started — for the first 3 sessions you pay the full price, and from session 4 onward the price is reduced by the number of missed sessions. Regardless of when you join, you are always entitled to 2 make-up sessions per course. During public holidays and school breaks, clients are entitled to an additional make-up session. Course sessions do not take place during public holidays and school breaks.

Question 18

What happens if I miss a class or my course ends?

If you sign out of a session at least 24 hours in advance, you can arrange a make-up in another group (max 2 per course). Make-up classes do not carry over to the next course. Unused entries are non-refundable. Once your course ends, you can enroll in the next available course — and if you join mid-course, the price is reduced from session 4 onward by the number of missed sessions.

How can I get the best value?

Enrolling in a course is the best value at 10.50€ per session compared to 15€ for a drop-in. For private lessons, the per-person cost decreases as your group grows — from 35€ for 1 person down to about 14€ per person for a group of 6.
