Introduction
This Privacy Policy informs you about the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) and § 19 of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data (hereinafter referred to as “PDPA”).
Scope of Personal Data Processed
We process your personal data in the following scope:

- Video recordings
Purposes of Processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Registration for training/course
- Marketing and advertising of the sports club
- Production, storage and publication of photographs and video recordings from the activities of the club and events organized by the club
- Further processing in accordance with applicable legal regulations
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 13(1)(a) PDPA: “Processing of personal data is lawful if it is carried out on the basis of at least one of the following legal bases: (a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for at least one specific purpose”.
Validity Period of Consent
We process your personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose of their processing or according to legal obligations.
Recipients of Personal Data
We may provide your personal data to other entities on the relevant legal basis under the GDPR and PDPA. Such entities will primarily include: visitors to the website and social profiles on the social networks of the club or processors (e.g. trainers, IT administrator, etc.) with whom we have concluded processing agreements. The processors are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding the provided personal data and have sufficient technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data. Transfer of personal data to a third country or international organization does not take place.
Data Protection
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your data is stored on secure servers and we use encryption for data transmission.
Photographs and Video Recordings
During training sessions, courses, or performances, we may create photographs and video recordings. These materials may be used on:
- The website
- Social media
- Marketing materials
- Sports club presentations
Photos and videos are used exclusively for the purpose of presenting the sports activities of the club. Consent to photography and recording is granted voluntarily and can be withdrawn at any time.
Your Rights
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal. The provision of personal data is not a legal or contractual requirement and you are not obliged to provide us with personal data. In the event of failure to provide personal data, we cannot process your personal data for the stated purpose.
1. Right of access to personal data
You have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you are being processed. If we process such personal data, you have the right to obtain access to such personal data and information about the purpose of processing, the category of personal data processed, the recipients of personal data, the retention period, the existence of automated individual decision-making including profiling, and your rights.
2. Right to rectification of personal data
You have the right to have us correct without undue delay inaccurate personal data concerning you. You also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed.
3. Right to erasure of personal data
You have the right to have us erase without undue delay personal data concerning you. We are obliged to erase personal data without undue delay if you have exercised the right to erasure and
- the personal data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were obtained,
- you withdraw consent and there is no legal basis for the processing of personal data,
- you object to the processing of personal data and no legitimate grounds for processing prevail,
- the personal data are processed unlawfully,
- the reason for erasure is the fulfillment of an obligation under the PDPA, a special regulation, or an international treaty by which the Slovak Republic is bound,
- the personal data were collected in connection with the offer of information society services.
4. Right to restriction of processing of personal data
You have the right to have us restrict the processing of personal data if
- you contest the accuracy of personal data, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data,
- the processing of personal data is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of personal data and request the restriction of their use instead,
- we no longer need the personal data for the purpose of personal data processing, but you need them for the establishment of a legal claim,
- you object to the processing of personal data, pending verification whether the legitimate grounds on our part override your legitimate grounds.
5. Right to portability of personal data
You have the right to obtain personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit those personal data to another controller, where technically feasible and where the legal conditions are met.
6. Right to object to the processing of personal data
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to automated processing including profiling. We may no longer process the personal data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate interests for the processing which override your rights or interests, or grounds for the establishment of a legal claim. You also have the right to object to the processing of personal data for the purposes of direct marketing including profiling.
7. Right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing of personal data, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic to initiate proceedings on the protection of personal data if you believe that we have violated your rights.
