What is pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact exercise method built around precise, controlled movement. During each 60-minute lesson we strengthen the deep core muscles, improve posture and develop flexibility – all at a pace that lets you truly feel every single movement. No jumping, no heavy weights: just you, a mat and focused, mindful work with your own body.
At Flying Stars, pilates is open to everyone from 10 years up – young athletes, parents and complete beginners alike. We train in small groups of up to 12, so the trainer has time to watch your technique and adapt every exercise to your level. It is the perfect balance to dynamic aerial training and a rewarding workout in its own right.
Why pilates?
Four reasons you'll fall in love with it
A strong core
We target the deep abdominal and back muscles that form the foundation of every movement – from walking all the way to acrobatics.
Better posture
Regular practice straightens the spine, releases tight shoulders and helps your body stay tall through long days at school or work.
Flexibility and mobility
Smooth, full-range movements improve muscle elasticity and joint mobility without unnecessary strain.
Body and mind harmony
Conscious breathing and full focus on each movement clear your head and melt away stress.
